The Method of Correctly Adjusting the Press Roller of Ring Die Granulator
The ring mold is the ring mold accessory mold equipped with the feed machinery ring mold granulator. The materials generally used to make the ring mold are alloy steel, carbon steel and stainless steel. The ring mold is an essential accessory of the granulator, and the use of the ring mold will directly affect the service life of the ring mold and the quality of the finished pellet feed.
Adjustment of the gap between the ring die and the press roller For the adjustment of the gap between the new ring die and the press roller, the ring die should be slightly in contact with the highest point of the press roller, and the press roller should reach a state where it does not seem to turn. If the adjustment is made under the working state, the pressure of the ring die and the press roller can be appropriately increased, but it must be done in moderation. The gap between the ring die and the press roller is too large, and the press roller cannot rotate, causing the machine to be blocked. If the gap between the ring die and the press roller is too small, it will increase the wear of the ring die and the press roller, increase the load, and cause damage to the ring die and the press roller in severe cases. The gap between the ring die and the pressing roller should be checked in time, at least once every four working hours. When adjusting each pressing roller, pay attention to the adjustment direction of each pressing roller, so that the torque sum of each pressing roller relative to the granulator shaft is zero, so that the granulator is not affected by asymmetric forces.
Correctly install or replace the ring die and press roll. Generally, the new die is matched with a new roll, and the old die is matched with an old roll, so that the surface shape of the ring die and press roll is close to the shape and close to the profiling state, and the local clearance between the ring die and press roll is roughly the same. In this way, the stress and discharge of the entire ring die are very uniform, which can improve production efficiency.
Team maintenance. Each shift should be checked before the shift, check the transmission parts, instruments, valves, with lithium-based lubricating oil to add lubricating oil, remove iron filings on the iron.
Before assembly, clean to ensure that all mating surfaces are clean. Pay special attention to the cleaning of the annular mold screw holes. If the material in the annular mold screw holes is not cleaned, it is easy to cause the annular mold bolt holes to rupture when fastening the annular mold bolts. Tighten the annular mold bolts with a torque wrench to ensure the specified tightening torque.
When assembling the press roller, attention should be paid to the inspection of the bearing. Once damage is found, it should be replaced in time. After the press roller is assembled, it should be ensured that there is a certain gap so that the press roller can rotate freely. The press roller must be filled with oil on time in each shift. Once the press roller is short of oil, the bearing and the press roller shaft will be burned out, and the entire press roller will be scrapped in severe cases.
