How to calculate the opening rate of the ring die of the granulator?
In view of industry friends often ask, how to calculate the opening rate of the ring mold of the granulator? Today, I will give you a detailed answer. The opening rate of the ring mold directly affects the production capacity of the granulator. The higher the opening rate, the more material will be discharged, which is conducive to improving productivity. However, the thickness of the die hole interwall becomes smaller, the strength of the mold is reduced, and it is easy to crack. At the same time, the friction is reduced and the temperature is relatively lowered
The calculation method of the opening rate of the ring die of the granulator:
Open porosity = sum of hole area (M)/total working area (N)
M = number of holes × π (2/d)
N = K × π R
D = effective aperture (as shown)
K = working face width (excluding the width of the non-working area other than the grooves on both sides and the grooves, as shown in the figure)
R = inner diameter of ring die (as shown)
The calculation method of the opening rate of the ring die of the granulator is so simple. We can combine parameters such as the compression ratio and find professional manufacturers to customize the appropriate ring die according to the actual demand to achieve the optimal production capacity.
